Mrs. Keshia Shannon
Owner & Coach
Mrs. Keshia is the Owner and Founder of Fire & Ice Athletics. Mrs. Keshia is a true EntrepreneHER! She has been blessed with a true gift to work and educate children of all ages. Mrs. Keshia owns a Daycare (Growing-Up Academy) as well as Fire & Ice Athletics. One of her greatest passions is to inspire children to strive for greatness regardless of the obstacles ahead. Mrs. Keshia is a wife to her High School Sweetheart Chris and mother to 2 amazing children Kennedy who is on Fire & Ice USAG Team and CJ who is a very active 3 year old. Mrs. Keshia is a firm believer that "Representation Matters" and emphasizes the importance of building a strong Village for the youth and a place of refuge, solace and sense of family and belonging. Mrs. Keshia has been coaching for 2 years and is the "First African American in the state of Missouri to be a competitive judge and apart of the NAWGJ Missouri Chapter (National Association of Women's Gymnastics Judging Missouri). In her earlier years she never knew her passions would lead her to gymnastics but she and the Fire & Ice Family are happy it did.
